I’m Colette Alls, LCSW

Transforming Lives Through Personal Growth , Community, and Empowerment
I’m Colette Alls, LCSW, and the founder of Mind Over Matter Psychotherapy. I am a Georgia Native, and attended Clark Atlanta University. I have a diverse background in Social work, but my passion is therapy. Why did I become a Therapist? I became a therapist because I get to witness and participate in significant life changes , which can be very rewarding , especially seeing clients achieve their potential. My practice is built on the belief that while you can’t always change your circumstances, you can change how you respond to them and that shift can transform everything.

Drawing from years of experience in clinical social work, I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression , grief, and life transitions with clarity and confidence. My background allows me to recognize the unspoken ,the ways unresolved pain, perfectionism, or people-pleasing often mask deeper emotional struggles. I use a collaborative and empowering approach that blends evidence-based therapy with genuine human connection. My goal is to help you uncover patterns that no longer serve you, strengthen your emotional boundaries, and reconnect with your most authentic self.

At Mind Over Matter Psychotherapy, I create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where healing feels attainable and personal growth becomes possible. Together, we focus on practical tools, emotional insight, and lasting change so you can show up in your life with more peace, confidence, and intention.

I Provide Compassionate, Insightful Speaking Engagements on Mental Wellness

If your organization is looking to bring meaningful, mental health centered conversations to your audience, I offer speaking engagements that blend clinical expertise with a grounded, compassionate approach.

My presentations focus on helping individuals better understand anxiety and depression while offering practical, accessible tools they can begin using right away.

With a calm, relatable speaking style, I aim to create a supportive atmosphere  where people feel safe, informed, and encouraged to care for their emotional well-being.

Topics I Often Speak On:

  • Understanding anxiety and depression in everyday life
  • Simple, evidence-based strategies to reduce overwhelm
  • How to support yourself (and others) through difficult seasons
  • Building resilience and healthy habits for long-term well-being
  • Strengthening emotional health at work, at school, and at home

Whether for a workshop, community event, professional training, or wellness program, I tailor each presentation to meet the needs of your group.
My goal is always the same: to offer clarity, reduce stigma, and inspire meaningful conversations around mental health.

If you’re interested in bringing a thoughtful and supportive mental health presentation to your next event, I’d love to connect.
